Attitude of Gratitude Day 6

This will be a very relationship centered post.

1. Nicole F. (I had the privilege of talking to a friend of mine today on FB. We do not chat often but whenever we have the opportunity to speak to one another I am always surprised to learn that we have a great many things in common. We both have strong beliefs about family, about loving our husbands, and following the Lord's Will in our own lives. She is someone that I truly admire, both for her testimony and her mad organizational skills. I hope to learn more things from her in the future!)

2. One of my nieces was baptized today! (Being a convert to my chosen religion it is such a joy when someone else makes the choice to commit to the gospel (or a given set of values). It is a time of rejoicing and a tremendous leap of faith that carries with it great rewards both now and further down the road of life.)

3. Another niece turned 12 today! (I held her a few weeks after she was born and it is amazing to think of how she has grown and changed and become this lovely young woman. I wish for her all good things and hope she had a lovely celebration!)

4. Tussinex (Last night was probably the first deep sleep I've had in ages. I attribute it to the Rx cough syrup. It was nice to be able to sleep and to not be in any pain.)

5. Burritos (I've used that one before but I really appreciated having dinner already made for me when I woke up. I didn't have to worry about what to eat so that I could take my meds. I just had to pop it in the microwave and then in my tummy it went! So tasty!)

Sorry the list was short today but that's just how some days go. I hope you take a few moments to think over the bright spots in your own day!
